The contracting authority intends to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced economic operator to undertake conduct a visual survey and inspection of the contracting authority’s premises (to include St. Joseph’s Hospital and Raheny Community Nursing Unit, Raheny) in order to ascertain overall compliance with all legislative provisions pertaining to fire safety. The successful tenderer shall be required to produce a valid compartmentation plan, supported by a written structural fire safety risk assessment relating to the contracting authority’s premises. The Contracting Authority undertakes that these framework agreements (which are reviewable in accordance with the provisions of S.I. 130 of 2010) will not be established until a period of fourteen calendar days has been observed following the electronic notification of all concerned tenderers. This "standstill period" reflects the provisions of Directive 2007/66/EC, as subsequently amended, and all relevant Irish transpositions thereof.
